  • Cloud 9
  • Sunset Cruise

The resort will take you out for snorkeling days as well as island tours of some of the local smaller islands untouched by tourism. You can visit a true Fijian village and meet the chief and buy some artisan handicrafts to support them. You are taken on a walking tour of the village to see the school, church and houses. The children are so cute and friendly. The crafts they make are beautiful and it is a great way to support the locals. They sell a lot of wood products like salt and pepper holders. Upon arriving at one of the islands you must pay the local chief a couple bucks a person USD and sit with him to engage in a formal tribe greeting ceremony. He makes kava water for you to drink and you all must take a sip of the water. This is something to be ware of. Kyle drank some of this and got Giardia that ended with him vomiting for 8 hours on the plane and his system recovering in about a week.

Food

Dick’s Place Bar and Grill

This is overlooking the pool and beachfront of the resort. This is where the morning breakfast buffet is held every morning. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be eaten here.

The Trader Cafe

This is on the edge of the marina. This place has pizzas, smoothies, and much more with takeaway food available mainly.

Yacht Club Island Bar

This is the island bar and a fun night view of the island with all of its lights. This is a great place to watch the sunset or take a beach walk to have a peaceful drink at night.

General Store

There is a very handy store with food, drinks and supplies at the main office of the resort on the island. This is where you can also buy things like sunscreen, towels or other items or toiletries that you may need on your trip. Right next door to this is a nice boutique store with clothes and bathing suits for souvenirs as well as some jewelry of the island.

Tips

  • There is babysitting services for couples for F$10 per hour or less than $5 USD/hour!

Musket Cove Photo Diary

Candlelit dinners overlooking the ocean with local fijian live music every night and a dance performance was beautiful!
There are lots of water activities like sailboats, kayaks and a huge safe lagoon to swim in.
