Bali Beach Bubble, Glamping At Its Finest

Bali Beach Bubble, Glamping At Its Finest
Bali Beach Bubble

The south coast of Bali in Kuta has a beach with one of the best glamping spots on the island. The Bali Bubble Hotel has 6 different beach bubble camping coves on the private beach, which is closed to the public in the evening. This beach is only 15 minutes from the gorgeous Uluwatu beach and the Omnia beach lounge.  The Bali Beach Bubble is one hour South from the airport.

What isn’t clear online is how intense and steep the hike down to the bubble is. It is a steep path through jungle hillside to get to the beach and takes about 30-40 minutes. You definitely need shoes and not sandals. The Bubble does have a driver you can pay to pick you up and bring you to the bubble trailhead (which we recommend because it is a remote place with no signage and confusing). Also, keep in mind that if you plan to head to an early morning flight, then you may be hiking up in the dark to meet your driver.

Bali Beach Bubble Hotel: Cost

You can book the bubble through Airbnb for roughly $100/night. There are different size options, with corresponding prices depending on the size. If you are looking to upgrade your experience there are plenty of activities, decorations, and lighting which can be added to your stay. Each site has a bathroom and outdoor shower in the woods behind your bubble, including a western toilet. We stayed at bubble 6 for reference. The bigger bubbles are all down the coast to the right, while the smaller bubbles are to the left.

The bubbles have a fan and the generator to run them with air. It wasn’t noisy or annoying at all. The bed was super comfortable and clean. The bubble was not too hot or cold. It was impressive because of the cool winds on the southern coast the bubble felt cozy and had a great fan if you got hot.

Private Beach Sunsets

One of the highlights was being on a private beach and seeing no one for miles. The bubbles do have great privacy and are spaced out pretty well. We saw one other couple, but we both had our own space. The sunset was gorgeous and the beach is filled with beautiful shells and cowries. This is a beautiful beach to enjoy sunset before dinner, which they serve after nightfall normally between 6:30-7 pm.

Bali Beach Bubble: Candle Lit Dinner

There is one restaurant and they prepare dinner for all the couples and deliver your order from their select menu to your beachside table. They bring candlelight for dinner and the food was really good for modified camping beach side. I had the pesto gnocci and was not dissapointed. My husband got the burger and it was delicious as well.
