REST Ari Hostel is a small boutique hostel run out of a beautifully renovated family home in the trendy neighborhood of Ari. Nan, the owner, is so kind and friendly! You will experience Thailand’s hospitality at its finest. The hostel is a peaceful garden nook in a busy city. Ari is a quieter neighborhood in the city, filled with walkable streets, close cafes, and delicious restaurants.
The hostel is a convenient 5-minute walk from the BTS station. Hostels in Bangkok near a BTS are really helpful. REST Ari Hostel is right across the street from a cool local bar called Feelings Bar and down the street from a cute, peaceful coffee shop called the Porcupine Cafe. The hostel is clean and has the most amazing bathrooms. The rooms are artistic lofts with beautiful paintings and exposed brick wall. The beds are so comfortable, the AC is great in the rooms, and the wifi is fast! Seriously, this is one of the best hostels in Bangkok.

The Yard Hostel, Ari Bangkok
The Yard Hostel in Ari, Bangkok welcomes you in like family. It’s definitely one of the best hostels in Bangkok. The Yard Hostel is great for any type of traveler. They have great private rooms and great dorm rooms. You have privacy, but also a great common space to meet other travelers. The staff is so friendly and helpful. What really makes it special is the atmosphere they’ve created. The garden “yard,” which is where you eat breakfast and is the main common area of the space. The rooms are built-in metal shipping containers and are very modern and clean. The bathrooms are also very clean and modern/western style. The location in Ari is down a quiet neighborhood street with several cafes and restaurants in very close walking distance. In particular, we recommend a small restaurant nearby called Wraptor. This is a very nice, modern hostel with brick walls, wood, and concrete floors, creating a very industrial feel. There are cool wall murals, modern bunk rooms, and a few private rooms with a big living room lounge hangout area.

A’ Hostel has a cool rooftop view of Bangkok and a modern beautifully decorated hangout area on the roof for guests. It’s as if your favorite coffee shop added on a hostel to its business. This is a great budget-friendly place to stay and value you get.

Buff Hostel is a modern and bohemian hipster place with clean, vibey rooms. There is a trendy coffee shop inside that includes a bar and bistro at night. This place has live music and is a super popular spot with the locals. It’s a great hostel if you want to connect and be a part of the local nightlife.

The Josh Hotel is a bit of a more upscale boutique hotel that is hidden in a quiet cove of Ari. It’s got an artsy, vintage feel and not to mention a killer pool, bar, restaurant, and fashion clothing boutique. They carry old records in their store as well from the 50’s. There are 71 rooms in this posh hotel in this up and coming neighborhood in Bangkok. Again, this place is surrounded by the best restaurants and coffee shops. The Craftsman Hotel is a beautiful 3-star hotel with an awesome outdoor pool and modern accommodations. It is central in the neighborhood but still tucked away from the business of the city. If you are looking for a slightly more upscale stay, this is a good option.
